Maria Grazia Davino has taken on the role of Regional Managing Director for Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic at BYD effective December 1, 2024. An experienced and respected leader in the automotive industry, Davino has held positions with well-known manufacturers and in various markets. Most recently, she served as UK Group Managing Director at Stellantis, where she led the region’s operations for several brands.
She has an impressive track record of implementing sales, retail, finance and marketing strategies at country, regional and global levels. Her other previous roles include a stint as Senior Vice President for Sales & Marketing at Stellantis in the Enlarged Europe region, where Davino led the launch of a new retail model, as well as positions as CEO and Managing Director in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Maria Grazia Davino holds degrees in philosophy and economics, reflecting her analytical approach to the complex dynamics of the automotive industry. Recognized as an influential figure in the industry, she is a leader committed to innovation and progress. In her new role at BYD, Davino will play a key role in strengthening the company’s operations in Europe as BYD expands sales and market penetration of its industry-leading vehicle technologies.
