BayWa Mobility Solutions GmbH has introduced a new site partnership program that supports developers and owners in exploiting the potential of their commercial premises, public parking spaces or open spaces that are accessible around the clock. The aim is to make the spaces profitable by setting up charging infrastructure – without any investment risk for the site partners. The deal: site owners make their (partial) plots of land available to the BayWa subsidiary as part of a site partnership. BayWa Mobility Solutions GmbH, as a general contractor in the field of charging infrastructure expansion, plans, builds and operates demand-oriented charging solutions on these sites and pays a lease to the owners in return.
Property owners not only benefit financially: the participating property owners profit from the modern charging infrastructure with up to 300 kW charging capacity through monthly rental income. The new mobility offer also increases the attractiveness of the location. Political requirements are met easily and without investment risk. For example, the Building Electromobility Infrastructure Act (GEIG) obliges all developers and owners of buildings in Germany to include a charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in new buildings and major building renovations.
We are looking for location partners with optimal conditions for the installation of charging stations. The following criteria should be met as a minimum: Good transport links, high vehicle frequency, existing parking spaces, public accessibility of the charging stations, long-term use of the space.
