Order start for Kia EV9 versions: Seven-seat electric SUV with 800-volt charging technology

The new electric SUV Kia EV9 is now available to order in all versions. Following the introduction of the fully equipped “Launch Edition” in July, the brand has now published the details and prices of all other versions of the largest Kia model in Europe to date, measuring 5.01 meters in length. The brand’s new flagship is available with rear-wheel drive (150 kW/204 hp) or as an all-wheel drive model (283 kW/385 hp), and the AWD version is also offered in the emphatically sporty GT-line version. With a range of up to 541 kilometers (RWD, according to WLTP), the extremely spacious family SUV is fully suitable for long distances, especially since the 99.8 kWh battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes under ideal conditions thanks to 800 volt fast charging technology. The EV9 is one of the first seven-seater electric vehicles on the market and also offers unique variability with two six-seater variants (optional for GT-line). Prices for the model, which is already luxuriously equipped as standard, start at 72,490 euros for the rear-wheel drive model and 76,490 euros for the all-wheel drive version. The GT-line costs from 82,380 euros and in the Launch Edition from 83,190 euros. The 7-year Kia manufacturer’s warranty includes the battery. Kia also offers special benefits to buyers of the electric SUV. These include a two-year new vehicle premium mobility warranty, a free first maintenance service after 24 months or 30,000 kilometers and an exclusive EV9 customer hotline. Those who order the brand’s top-of-the-line Stromer by December 31 of this year will also receive discounts on the Kia Charge charging service, which also includes Europe’s leading fast-charging network, Ionity. Deliveries of the Launch Edition will start in the fourth quarter, those of the other versions in the first quarter of 2024.
