E-Works Mobility supplies TOI TOI & DIXI with a new type of e-transporter. The vehicle with a special body transports and supports toilet cubicle cleaning emission-free. Thanks to the fully electric drive and auxiliary drive, the “business of business” becomes even cleaner.
Who doesn’t know them, the toilet cabins of the market leader TOI TOI & DIXI? At events and construction sites, the connection-free sanitary units ensure the required level of hygiene. For almost fifty years, the group of companies has thus ensured the disposal of wastewater in accordance with locally applicable recycling and waste management laws. The 2046 service vehicles cover more than 77 million kilometres annually. This means that mobility accounts for a relevant share of the group-wide CO2 emissions. Accordingly, the company aims to convert the entire service fleet to e-vehicles in the medium term. To this end, TOI TOI & DIXI Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH is cooperating with innovative commercial vehicle manufacturers such as E-Works Mobility GmbH.
E-Works Mobility, based in Ismaning in the Munich area, develops and builds the HEERO, a fully electric van based on the Mercedes Sprinter. The vehicle has an output of 180 kilowatts, or 245 hp, and is thus considered the most powerful in its class. The latest-generation vehicle serves as the basis for the TOI TOI & DIXI vehicle body, which transports two toilet cabins as well as fresh and waste water. A power storage unit with a capacity of 110 kilowatt hours provides the necessary autonomy and energy. The management of TOI TOI & DIXI Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH is pleased and proud: “The special vehicle built in partnership is a world first in the field of sanitary services.
