Our vision is a solution for urban mobility with a fun factor. ethec reaches its efficiency with its own breaking power, which is regenerated through recuperation. With our unique technology the recuperation is more efficiently what opens new roads in the world of modern mobility. ethec had the goal of developing a two-wheel electric motorcycle with two wheel hub motors and a range of 400 km. Since 75% breaking energy in motorcycles is dissipated, and therefore lost, at the front wheel, ethec uses a hub motor in the front wheel realized for the first time. This motor is used to recuperate breaking power lost and to reach a higher overall efficiency.
