As part of the eMove360°Europe 2021 International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 electric – connected-autonomous (November 16-18), the finalists of the world’s most important award for new mobility were announced on the evening October 16. The expert jury of the eMove360° Award for electromobility & autonomous driving had nominated the most innovative and promising submissions for mobility. Finalist of the category Mobility Connectivity & Engineering is the Brugg eConnect AG with “Compact” Stecker.
The start-up BRUGG eConnect AG is active in electromobility in the field of high power charging and sets new standards in terms of safety and robustness with the “Compact” charging plug. The “Compact” charging plug is the first plug in the world to be IP69 certified. This means that our world innovation meets the highest technically feasible standard of all and is therefore resistant to hydrolysis, microbes, UV and ozone. The connector owes its special robustness to its housing, which is injection-molded with thermoplastic polyurethane directly around the contact points and onto the cable sheath.
