European premiere for the all-electric Nissan Townstar

The new Townstar EV is coming to Germany this fall at prices starting at €33.750 net and follows on from the success of the Nissan e-NV200, which has firmly established itself in the electrically powered light commercial vehicle (e-LCV) segment. Available in Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna trim options, the all-electric variant of the Townstar features an optimized powertrain with intelligent energy management and battery cooling, and offers a range of over 300 kilometers (according to WLTP). In total, Nissan offers the Townstar EV in four trim levels.

The Townstar’s electric motor produces 90 kW (122 hp) and develops 245 Nm of torque. The 45-kWh battery can be charged with alternating current (11 kW or 22 kW) or direct current via the vehicle’s CCS port. The latter enables charging from 15 to 80 percent in just 37 minutes. The Townstar EV is thus another vehicle in the Nissan fleet to feature this fast-charging port. www.germany.nissannews.com
