Mer Germany: Jessica Schneider new Head of Business Charging Solutions

Jessica Schneider takes over the position of Director Business Charging Solutions and Managing Director at Mer Germany. She succeeds Günter Fuhrmann, who will now focus on the overall management of Mer Germany. In her new position, Jessica Schneider will concentrate in particular on the needs of company and company car owners in the area of non-public charging as well as charging solutions in the housing industry. In the future, she will also focus on depot charging.

In her new position as Director Business Charging Solutions, Jessica Schneider will focus in particular on the further successful positioning of Mer’s holistic solutions for the electrification of company car fleets. Following the merger of the fleet solutions and expansion of public charging networks as part of the merger of Mer Solutions and Mer Germany at the end of July 2023, Schneider will be actively involved in her new role in generating maximum synergy effects from the resulting opportunities. Her overarching goal is to always offer business customers the best 360-degree offering in terms of e-mobility. In addition to the already well-developed fleet market, this includes the new and rapidly growing markets for the electrification of apartment buildings and depots.

Jessica Schneider has many years of experience in the technology sector – both B2B and B2C. After completing her MBA at the University of Texas at Austin, she worked for various technology companies in various positions in the USA. From 2011 to 2015, she was Vice President at the software-as-a-service company Nimblecommerce in Silicon Valley, followed by four years as General Manager Europe at Amazon Home Services in Munich. In the years that followed, she held the positions of CEO and Managing Director at uptodate Ventures GmbH and most recently as CEO at Sendmoments.
