Grischa Sauerberg,
Skeleton Technologies announces the appointment of Grischa Sauerberg as Chief Commercial Officer. Based in Hamburg, Sauerberg brings over two decades of experience from Shell, where he held numerous high-level positions, most recently as Vice President for Sector Decarbonization & Innovation. In his new role, Grischa Sauerberg will lead Skeleton Technologies’ commercial organization and be responsible for sales, project management and marketing of the company’s high-performance and fast-charging energy storage solutions for grid, transportation, automotive and industrial applications. He will bring his extensive experience and expertise in the energy market and off-grid segments to accelerate Skeleton’s business growth in these hard-to-decarbonize sectors. As Vice President for Sectoral Decarbonization & Innovation, Sauerberg led Shell’s decarbonization plans for the mining sector and worked with Skeleton on the electrification of mining vehicles and operations.
Grischa’s 23 years at Shell were marked by significant achievements in decarbonization efforts. As VP of Sector Decarbonization & Innovation, he was responsible for the profitable decarbonization of the mining sector, developing new sectors and driving Shell’s innovation strategy in the business. His team developed and commercialized decarbonization solutions within Shell and with partners, including plant and fleet electrification, low-carbon fuels and renewables.
