Production of the Polestar 3 has started in Chengdu, China. A further production line is scheduled to start up in South Carolina, USA, in mid-2024. The first early test series at the American plant has been successfully completed. The Polestar 3 will be the first Polestar to be produced on two continents. This supports the company’s growth ambitions in North America, Europe and Asia. Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar: “The start of production of this stunning vehicle marks an important milestone in our journey from a one-vehicle to a three-vehicle company this year. In addition, we have reached market readiness at the Ridgeville, South Carolina plant and are well on track with our plans to produce the Polestar 3 in the US.
