Fast charging at Fraport: New charging park for e-vehicles opened at CargoCity South

Passengers and guests, employees and companies at the airport as well as transit passengers can now charge their electric vehicles quickly and conveniently at three new charging stations in CargoCity South. The 300-kilowatt stations each have two charging points. They are part of the newly opened fast-charging park that airport operator Fraport is building together with Allego in the south of Frankfurt Airport. Eight more charging points will follow in the second quarter of 2024, making a total of 22 fast-charging points available for electric vehicles. The public fast-charging park is open 24 hours a day. Reservations are not possible. Customers can pay at the Allego charging station using various European charging cards or via an app, such as EnBW mobility+. Tariffs and conditions depend on the respective card and app provider. Direct payment by credit card, debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay is also possible at the operating terminals. The new charging facilities are located in the immediate vicinity of the busy A3 and A5 freeways in CargoCity South at Gate 32 and are easily accessible from all directions.
