The Škoda Enyaq is at the top of the German registration statistics for electric vehicles in October: with 2,579 new registrations in Germany, it outperforms every competitor. Since a recent update, the Enyaq is even more attractive and offers more power, faster charging times and new software.
Jan-Hendrik Hülsmann, CEO of Škoda Auto Germany, says: “To see the Enyaq in first place among new electric vehicle registrations is a great result. It underlines the fact that we are fulfilling our customers’ desire for modern electric mobility with proven Škoda qualities such as space and practical Simply Clever details. We are able to significantly improve our battery-electric vehicles in much faster, shorter cycles. We see the result in our incoming orders and registrations.”
Over 40,000 new registrations on the German market
To date, the car manufacturer has produced over 173,000 units of the SUV and coupé variants of the Enyaq at its headquarters in Mladá Boleslav. Germany is the strongest market for Škoda’s first electric vehicle. Since its market launch, over 40,000 Enyaqs have been newly registered in Germany up to October 2023 – 16,725 units this year alone. In the brand’s internal ranking, the battery-electric Enyaq took third place in October behind the Octavia and Kodiaq models.
