Trade Fair eMove360° with a growth of 50 per cent – Tesla to exhibit, China to partner

MunichExpo keeps on cruising towards substantial growth with eMove360° International Trade Fair for the Mobility 4.0 – electric – connected – autonomous.

After its successful first edition last year organizer MunichExpo, until 2016 host of the B2B trade fairs eCarTec, Materialica and sMove360°, recorded a growth rate of about 50 per cent in stand bookings compared to the same time period in 2016. Also, MunichExpo acquired some exciting new exhibitors: e-mobility pioneer Tesla will attend the show for the first time. And China will be the official partner of this year’s trade fair. In addition to a huge joint stand that gives innovative local mobility companies the opportunity to present themselves to the community, the country – being one of the most ambitious enablers of electric mobility in the world – will use the platform eMove360° to show it’s colors by hosting various events during the trade fair including a reception at the trade fair forum on the opening day. The German region North Rhine Westphalia will also be present with a joint stand, featuring 15 local companies.

Managing Director Robert Metzger is very delighted about the development in the first eight months of the trade fair year and looked ahead: “The trade fair has entered the critical stage now. We are looking forward to this year’s event – being the leading b-2-b platform – as it proves that it is a fixed date in many agendas. We have seen this by the early bookings of many of our long-term exhibitors like ABB, ABL, Alfen, Amphenol, Austrian Institute of Technology, Bals, Bender, Bergische Achsen BPW, ChargeAmps, Conductix-Wampfler, CTC, Delta Electronics, DLR, EBG, Efacec, E.ON, Epcos, ERNI, GEM Motors, Harting, HENKEL, Hubject, Innogy, Intercable, Intramco, Isel, Isovolta, ITT, Jungheinrich, Keba, Krempel, Lapp Kabel, Mahle, MWS, Multicontact, OCSiAL, ODU, PCElectric, PhoenixContact, Quadrant, RWE, Sinbon, Stäubli, Schwarz Elektromotoren, Talum, TDK, Telekom, Tokheim, Uniper, Valeo, Virta, Walther-Werke and Wieland- Werke as well as with some returnees and of course a large number of companies that use our platform for the first time.” In three months from now, on October 17, the eMove360° will open it’s gates for the second time. A small number of attractive sites is still available in the halls C2 and C3.

With eMove360°, that will take place from October 17-19, 2017 at Messe München, MunichExpo reflects the current development of the car industry: Electric Mobility, Connectivity as well as automated and eventually autonomous driving are the big future issues of the industry. This development comes along with whole new approaches in mobility concepts, the way vehicles will be constructed, automotive design, but also urban planning regarding the “Smart City”.

Along with the trade fair the international conference World Mobility Summit will be held – in English language – for the third time this year. With its awards, e.g. the MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award that will be th held for the 15  straight year, MunichExpo has set new records and launched – aligned with the new structure of the trade fairs – the new eMove360° Award for Electric Mobility & Autonomous Driving.

With its new concept the international trade fair will give exhibitors from the following segments the opportunity to present themselves to the industry gathered at the trade fair.

  • Vehicles (electric – connected – autonomous)
  • Energy & Infrastructure
  • Battery & Powertrain
  • Mobility Concepts & Services
