All-electric SUV: Production start of the Jeep Avenger in Tychy

After being voted Europe’s Car of the Year 2023, series production of the new Jeep Avenger started on 31 January at the Stellantis plant in Tychy. It is the first of four all-electric Jeep brand vehicles to be launched on the European market by 2025. Equipped with a latest-generation 400-volt electric motor with 115 kW (156 hp) and 260 Newton metres of torque, combined with a 54-kilowatt-hour battery pack. According to the manufacturer, the range (combined) is between 389 and 404 kilometres. In Germany, it will be offered at a price of 37,000 euros minus 7,177.50 euros environmental bonus (federal share and manufacturer’s share including VAT).

“The new Jeep Avenger is the first Jeep SUV to be produced in Poland. Our team is proud to enter 2023 with the production launch of a vehicle that has already won the recognition of customers and industry experts,” said Tomasz Gębka, Stellanti’s plant manager at the Tychy plant. “We are pleased with the great interest in this unique Jeep brand model with its many state-of-the-art technological features. Our team in Tychy will give it an additional value – the highest level of quality.”
