eMove360° Europe 2018 to start off the year with a solid growth

With sales already going up by 20 per cent in 2017 eMove360° continues to grow this year – application deadline on February, 28.

Munich, January 2018 – eMove360° Europe 2018 – International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 – electric – connected – autonomous further expanded its market position as the leading and largest trade fair for electric mobility and autonomous driving. More than 300 exhibitors from more than 25 countries – this represents a share of international exhibitors of 44 per cent – contentedly registered this substantial growth. Meanwhile, preparations for the next edition are going on at full throttle: From October, 16-18, 2018 the big question of how we are going to manage the mobility of the future will be in the center of attention in the halls A5 and A6 of Messe Münchenat eMove360° Europe 2018 – International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 – electric – connected – autonomous.

In addition to the established focus areas Vehicle and Drivetrain Technology with a special attention to Battery Technology, Energy and Charging Infrastructure as well as Material and Lightweight Construction, solutions for connected and autonomous driving will gain increasing awareness. “Design for the mobile urban life and connected and autonomous driving merge continuously”, said Robert Metzger, Managing Director of MunichExpo and organizer of the trade fair. “The New Mobility is not just about vehicles, that communicate with the driver and with other cars, but it is about the communication in mobility as a whole, connecting vehicles with traffic management systems as well as buildings.” This means that intelligent guidance software and data-based traffic management will be even more in the center of attention – as well as security and entertainment solutions.

Further growth thanks to multi-platform strategy

Additionally, special exhibitions are planned for E-Boats, E-Aviation and Agriculture 4.0. Start-Ups can present themselves in a dedicated area. And the cooperation between eMove360° and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy will be continued this year. “As a partner of the support program ‘Young Innovative Companies’ we give start-up companies the opportunity to join the trade fair without having to spend a substantial amount of money. The Ministry will cover 60 per cent of the stand booking costs”, explained trade fair host Robert Metzger. A conference will be held in parallel to the trade fair, for the first time split up in four dedicated conferences covering the topics Battery & Fuel Cell, Connected & Autonomous Mobility, Charging & Energy and Mobility Engineering.

Using this integrated platform approach, eMove360° continues to grow. As of January 2018, more exhibitors have booked theirs booths than at the same time last year. For all trade fair topics, well-known companies have already made their bookings for – in most cases – larger booths compared to previous years. Among others, ABL Sursum, Amphenol, Bals, Bender, Delta Energy Systems, EBG compleo, ecotap, EFACEC, Aachen based manufacturer of electric vehicles e.GO, EWII Triple, GP joule, Huber Automotive, Innogy, InTech, Intramco, ITT Canon, Omexcin, RayCap, SPIE, Wallb-e and Walther-Werke will attend the eMove360° Europe 2018 to present their solutions and products for tomorrow’s mobility. The Free State of Bavaria and the Land North Rhine-Westphalia will also be present again with huge shared booths from Bayern Innovativ and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation and Energy of North Rhine-Westphalia respectively. Large shared booths by countries like China, Korea and Taiwan, but also from Slovenia, Italy, finalnd or the Netherlands as well as the announced shared booths from Japan, Belgium Israel and Catalonia contribute to the further increase of the number of international exhibitors.

“We are very delighted that we can reach such a large international community with our subject, the mobility of the future”, said Robert Metzger Managing Director of organizer MunichExpo. “Last year’s exhibitors specifically emphasized the quantity as well as the high quality of the conversations – with international visitors – they had during the trade fair and business opportunities related to these talks, especially with R&D staff from the car manufacturers and tier 1-suppliers and growing target groups like fleet managers, delivery services, municipalities and tourism.”

eMove360° Europe 2018, that will take place from October 16-18 at Messe München (Entrance East), is open for bookings at https://www.emove360.com until application deadline on February, 28.
