The eMove360° Europe 2019 – International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 – Electric – Connected – Autonomous, which ended last Thursday, continues to grow.

– Share of international exhibitors once again slightly raised to 45 percent

– 15 percent more net exhibition space, visitor numbers once more increased

– Bookings for 2020 already possible

Munich, October 2019 – The eMove360° Europe 2019 – International Trade Fair for Mobility 4.0 – Electric – Connected – Autonomous, which ended last Thursday, continues to grow. More than 290 exhibitors from 25 countries – the international share of 45 percent marks another all-time high – presented their innovations and solutions for the mobility of the future during eMove360° Europe 2019, occupying 15 percent more stand space than last year. Robert Metzger, CEO of the organizer MunichExpo, expressed his delight in his summary of this year’s show: “I am pleased that we have once more seen a continuous growth of the trade fair and that we were able to even slightly increase the large number of visitors we have had last year. The show proves that our exhibitors are launching innovations at a high rate and present them – in many cases for the first time – to our expert audience. With this year’s trade fair we have set a very solid base for our upcoming events like the first edition of eMove360° Asia next month and of course the eMove360° Europe 2020.” It will take place on the grounds of Messe München from October 20-22, 2019.

Around 30 percent of the more than 10,000 professional visitors – mainly engineers as well as users like cities and municipalities, fleet managers and delivery services – traveled from outside of Germany to Munich. The exhibitors praised the generally high quality of the conversations held during the trade fair: “More than 90 percent of the visitors are professionals who are specifically looking for products and solutions for their requirements and approach the exhibitors with specific issues and a substantial buying interest. I am delighted that we are so successful with our approach of using electric mobility and autonomous driving as our core topics rather than as an attachment to other topics such as renewable energy. Thanks to our presence in the Asian key markets, we will continue to expand our position as the leading international trade fair in this field in the coming years” summarized Robert Metzger the eMove360° 2019.

Professional exchange on all platforms of eMove360°– Bavarian companies honored for true innovations

For the international eMove360° Award for Electric Mobility & Autonomous Driving, that was held for the third time this year, renowned companies such as EnBW, DKV Euroservice or innogy have applied as well as young companies like Easelink, Clean Energy Global, Aiona Cast or etaEM. The range among the award winners was as pleasingly broad: Jaguar, EDAG and Webasto on the hand, Future Mobility Solutions from Gaimersheim near Ingolstadt, Aurora Labs from Israel and unu Motors from Berlin on the other. In addition, the award ceremony in the glamourous setting of the Gloria-Palast was a truly unique event for all participants. The MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award, meanwhile held for the 17th time this year, highlighted the topics sustainability – like the winner of the category “Material” Ocean Tide, that is collecting waste plastics from the oceans to be re-used – and bionics. The Blue Whale and the Owl inspired the design of a fan by Ziehl-Abegg, the olfactory organ of the Hammerhead Shark inspired E.G.O. Products and the University of Freiburg to their award submission.

The fair forum was a real center and meeting point of this year’s event with exciting lectures and panel discussions as well as some press and partner events with partners like VDE Renewables, the JEC Group or the media partner Vision Mobility. The concept of the eMove360° Conferences on four different aspects of New Mobility was a huge success. Nearly 300 international participants praised the quality of the lectures as consistently very high. The technical exchange both in the question and answer sessions as well as in personal discussions between participants and speakers was a great enrichment of the four Conferences on the topics Battery, Fuel Cell, Electric & Autonomous Mobility and Charging & Energy.

The eMove360° Europe 2020 will take place from October 20-22, 2020 on the grounds of Messe München. It is already open for bookings at https://www.emove360.com – currently with an early bird discount!
