360° competence in e-mobility: Mer Germany and Mer Solutions merge

Mer Germany and Mer Solutions, the German business units of the Mer Group under Statkraft, Europe’s largest producer of renewable energy, are joining forces more closely and announcing the merger under the single brand Mer Germany GmbH. The combination of the competence areas fleet solutions and operation of charging networks is expected to release further synergy effects. In addition, Mer is thus underlining its own ambition to always offer customers the best 360-degree offering in terms of e-mobility. At the same time, the Group is founding Mer Austria GmbH in order to serve customers in Austria even more directly and comprehensively.

Mer Solutions GmbH (formerly eeMobility) and Mer Germany GmbH (formerly E-WALD) have been part of the European charging infrastructure brand Mer, managed by the Norwegian energy group Statkraft, since July 2021. By conviction, Europe’s largest renewable energy producer has been investing in the EV charging solutions market for many years and developed the Mer Group into a major player in the European LaCompetence market. The managing directors of the new Mer Germany GmbH are Günter Fuhrmann and Otto Loserth. Existing rights and obligations remain unaffected by the merger.

In addition to Germany and Austria, Mer is also represented in Norway, Sweden and Great Britain. Together with its parent company Statkraft, Mer is committed to sustainable mobility and accelerating the complete switch to renewable energies.
