New CEO of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. As of July 1, 2022, Klaus Zellmer will take over. He is currently responsible for the Sales, Marketing and After Sales divisions as a member of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen brand. The previous CEO of ŠKODA AUTO, Thomas Schäfer, will take over as CEO of the Volkswagen brand on July 1, 2022, at the same time moving up to the Group Board of Management and becoming head of the volume brand group.
