AVL and ISID partnership: accelerating high-quality development processes

The IT solution provider and system integrator Information Services International-Dentsu (ISID), headquartered in Tokyo, and the global mobility technology company AVL are pooling their expertise in accelerating technical product development. The companies offer application-oriented and digital solutions and services for selected use cases in the manufacturing industry. The aim is to shorten development times for products and make them sustainable, as well as to improve existing products efficiently and to a high standard of quality.

To meet the current challenges of the manufacturing industry, ISID and AVL are rethinking current processes in product development. In doing so, the companies are concentrating on the requirements of both the market and the customer for the end product. The focus is on the integration and interaction of software (updates) and hardware. AVL contributes its expertise in automotive engineering, simulation and testing from the concept phase through to the finished product in order to design and implement efficient, high-quality processes as quickly as possible during product development. The IT solution provider ISID scores with its many years of experience in consulting and system integration based on Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE). Coupled with AVL’s expertise in the application of MBSE, this enables vehicle manufacturers to centrally control system requirements, design, analysis, verification and validation activities throughout the entire development process using digital system models. This allows all parties involved to maintain an overview of complex systems, interrelationships and requirements.

The partners develop solutions on the way to faster product maturity, taking into account legal regulations for system security. For example, the management of engineering data with secure traceability throughout the entire development process is linked to project and risk management. Design decisions and verification processes are also to be accelerated. In the field of mobility, ISID and AVL are concentrating on optimizing system development and integration based on the combination of ISID iQUAVIS and AVL software technologies for an end-to-end verification and validation process. Both electromobility and the field of autonomous driving should benefit from this.
