Charging at Porsche: Many roads lead to electricity

By 2030, more than 80 percent of all Porsche vehicles are to be offered with an electric motor. The newsroom already provides an overview of the topic of “charging” on a new microsite.

“We are currently experiencing a ramp-up in electromobility and an associated desire for travel comfort,” says Oliver Blume, CEO of Porsche AG. In line with this, IONITY announced this week a significant expansion of what is already Europe’s largest network of high-performance charging stations.

Thanks to the 800-volt technology of the charging stations, the Porsche Taycan can charge there with its full potential of up to 270 kW. When using the Porsche Charging Service, Taycan drivers also benefit from a uniform, significantly reduced price for IONITY fast charging stations of currently 0.33 euros per kilowatt hour.

Readers can find this and much more – topics such as charging at home, details on the Porsche Intelligent Range Manager and tips on optimal charging – on the new microsite.
