Change of directors at Scania Austria: Michaela Boye replaces Harald Woitke

Michaela Boye (52) has taken over as Director of Scania Austria, based in Brunn am Gebirge, as of November 1, 2023. She succeeds Robert Techler, who has returned to his former position as Regional Director for Tyrol & Salzburg. Ms. Boye has Austrian roots and looks back on an impressive 30-year international career. Since 2011, she has held various management positions at Scania, including the role of Managing Director of Global Scania Assistance in Södertälje and, since 2019, the management of the Scania Taiwan business.

“I am delighted to be a member of the Scania Germany Austria management team. The future of sales is exciting and I am looking forward to setting new impulses with a strong team. I am particularly keen to strengthen cooperation within the business unit across national borders,” explains Michaela Boye. In her new role, she will report to Harald Woitke, Managing Director of Scania Germany Austria.

“For some years now, the transport industry has been undergoing profound changes and is facing a complete realignment. A variety of influencing factors such as advancing digitalization, the challenges of climate change and emerging innovative mobility services – to name just a few – are playing a driving role. In a dynamic and rapidly changing transportation landscape, we strive to be a reliable partner for our customers. With Michaela Boye, we are gaining an experienced international manager and we look forward to working with her to further optimize our offering,” says Harald Woitke.
