Numbat was included in the prestigious Top 50 listing of the fastest-growing, venture capital-financed technology companies in Europe by more than 90 well-known growth capital investors. These companies have valuations in excess of 100 million euros and have the potential to soon reach “unicorn” status with a valuation of over 1 billion euros. The Tech Tour Growth 50 Europe Selection Panel nominated the Allgäu company Numbat, based in Kempten, from an impressive pool of over 300 companies. Only ten German companies made it into the top 50. In addition to Numbat, these include the AI company Aleph Alpha and Isar Aerospace Technologies.
Great Britain tops the list with 12 companies, followed by Germany with ten and France with seven companies. This award highlights Numbat’s outstanding performance in the tech industry.
Numbat is revolutionizing the energy and mobility sector with its innovative technology. The combination of fast charging station and battery storage enables high-power charging anywhere, regardless of the power grid. NORMA, hagebau, euronics, tegut… and the Sana Kliniken were won as major customers. In 2024, well over 400 new systems, i.e. 800 fast charging points, are to be installed across Germany. According to current figures, this would place Numbat in third place among the leading providers in Germany. The financing round with PATRIZIA and a German banking consortium also enables Numbat to build thousands more new fast charging points and consolidates its position as one of the fastest growing start-ups in Germany.
