Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) is launching the new Amperfied Wallbox connect.business, a first wall charging station primarily for commercial customers. A few weeks ago, the subsidiary Amperfied GmbH had already acquired a stake in Flotteladen GmbH in order to offer matching software solutions for charging entire vehicle fleets. The connect.business wallbox will be available from the second quarter of 2023 and is aimed at fleet managers, company car drivers, hotel and restaurant businesses and owners of multi-family homes. The range for commercial customers is rounded off by the barrier-free charging station Chargespot connect.public, which complies with calibration regulations.
The wallbox connect.business is a technical advancement of the wallbox connect.home and part of the Amperfied wallbox connect series. It differs from the connect.home wallbox in that it has an integrated energy meter that records the energy consumed to the nearest kilowatt hour and complies with the EU Measuring Instruments Directive (MID). This makes the charging station additionally suitable for semi-public areas where there is no public billing of the electricity. www.heidelberg.com
