How to prevent thermal propagation in your HV battery pack by EVA

Thermal runaway is a key safety aspect for high voltage battery packs. In early 2021, China released the GB/T 38031 standard. This represented the first regulatory document covering thermal propagation. The standard stipulates that a minimum five minute warning is given to vehicle passengers before fire or venting gas enters the vehicle cabin. In this talk Mr Bley will discuss potential development solutions to prevent thermal events and to ensure compliance with GB/T 38031.
