Against the background of increasing online trade, the logistics company Liefergrün, founded in 2020, wants to make the delivery of parcels more sustainable and improve the ecological balance of the last mile – without sacrificing the shopping experience. This includes the entire delivery chain from packaging to transport and delivery of the goods at the front door. In order to avoid local emissions in urban logistics, the Berlin and Münster-based company relies exclusively on delivery using electric cargo bikes and fully electric vans. The latter are now rented from Mercedes-Benz Automotive Mobility, a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Mobility. The 25 rented eVito panel vans are used in the German cities supplied by Liefergrün.
