Tesla Model S’s Traffic-Aware Cruise Control in stop-and-go traffic

Tesla Model S P85D with 6.1 software update including TACC, or Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. Heading south on 101, San Francisco Bay Area Peninsula.

The cruise-control was set to about 70 miles per hour, or slightly higher than the freeway’s speed limit. The car’s actual speed automatically adjusts as low as zero. After stopping, it resumes driving when appropriate.

No pedals were touched during the making of this video.
