Volvo-Renault joint venture Flexis SAS: New generation of electric vans

Following the signing of binding joint venture agreements on October 6, 2023, Volvo Group and Renault Group have received all necessary regulatory approvals and have now officially established the new company Flexis SAS for the next generation of fully electric and software-defined vehicles. The new company, which will be based in France, aims to meet the growing need for low-carbon and efficient urban logistics. The Volvo Group and the Renault Group each plan to invest EUR 300 million over the next three years.

Following the non-binding agreement dated October 6, 2023, the CMA CGM Group expressed its interest in a strategic investment of up to EUR 120 million in Flexis through PULSE, its EUR 1.5 billion investment fund to promote the decarbonization of the logistics value chain , confirmed.
