Hyundai Motor Group, which includes the Kia, Hyundai and Genesis mobility brands, will open its first smart urban mobility hub in Singapore on November 21. The Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS), for which the Group has now announced initial details, will define the future of mobility production and set new standards for the customer experience.
The newly built center will offer an innovative and unprecedented level of integration of human and robotic processes. It will serve as a test bed for human-centered, intelligent manufacturing technologies in the automotive industry, using advanced next-generation production methods that differ significantly from traditional assembly line manufacturing.
With HMGICS, the Group is not only advancing its approach to manufacturing, sustainability and customer experience, but also reinforcing Singapore’s reputation as a pioneer in the new era of mobility.
