Aurélie Alemany takes over as Chairman of the Management Board of enercity AG. The Supervisory Board of the energy service provider appointed the 48-year-old Frenchwoman to the position on July 1, 2024. Alemany, who studied process engineering, has now been successful in the energy world for 13 years after several years in the chemical industry. Most recently, she was CEO of the storage manufacturer Senec GmbH, previously Managing Director of Yello Strom GmbH and in various management positions at EnBW. Alemany succeeds Dr. Susanna Zapreva, who left enercity AG on December 31, 2023. Until Alemany takes office, the Management Board members Prof. Dr. Marc Hansmann and Dirk Schulte will continue to manage the company. From July 1, 2024, the enercity Executive Board will then consist of Aurélie Alemany (Chairwoman), Marc Hansmann and Dirk Schulte.
